Everyone is invited to come along and see the difference that this group of students have made for their local community.

Shelley Pyne

No limits Community Arts is a community arts project which was set up by Shelley Pyne during her third year on the CSC course.  The idea for the project was designed within the social enterprise module, where she learnt the application of business with the social sector, sources of funding and networking skills.  She combined her interest and passion for art and began supporting vulnerable young people in their community.   The arts programme is currently running at the Bureau Arts centre in Blackburn.   Shelley and her co-researcher, and first year student Kitty are coordinating and supporting the young people in a variety of creative ways.

The workshop will showcase some of the research work being carried out and give you the opportunity to see how 'Creative Participation' supports young people to challenge some of policies which dominate their lives in care.

Shelly will lead a workshop at 11.15am
